Jake, a Center for Bright Beams PhD student, received 2nd Prize in the Early Career Researcher Presentation category at the 2025 International Conference on Superconducting Radio Frequency (SRF2025) held in Tokyo, Japan.
His presentation, “Performance of the Cornell Conduction-Cooled Nb₃Sn Cavity Cryomodule,” showcased his innovative work developing a compact, conduction-cooled superconducting RF cryomodule—a design that operates entirely without liquid helium.
