Responsibilities

The successful candidates will be expected to collaborate in a significant way with these or other national laboratories engaged in accelerator science and beam physics.  The successful candidates are expected to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. 

Required Qualifications:

Prospective candidates must have a Ph.D. in physics or accelerator physics or a closely related discipline as appropriate and must have held at least one postdoctoral position in an area of accelerator science or technology. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to develop a successful externally funded research program in one or more of the following areas: beam physics, computational accelerator physics, advanced-accelerator concepts, charged-particle-beam sources, beam instrumentation, radiofrequency cavity and control, other accelerator technology development.
