Outreach

The goal of the CBB Outreach Program is to expand and broaden the undergraduate science pipeline by providing high quality, effective science education resources to K-12 teachers. A secondary goal of this program is to give our graduate students a venue in which to hone their scientific communication skills.

CBB’s Outreach Program provides educational resources for teachers, the Lending Library of Experiments. The Lending Library modules offer materials, lesson plans and student activity sheets available for download. The modules are designed to meet the Next Generation Science Standards (www.nextgenscience.org).

Check out the links below! You'll find lessons developed specifically for use at home with materials found in most homes, the Lending Library modules can be shipped to you with everything you need to engage students in the classroom and virtual lab tours.

A middle school teacher from California wrote about the Resistance Tube kit, “We are a small school composed of students from immigrant families - mostly from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Palestine, and Syria. This kit will go a long way! Thank you!”
